Joan has been a  member of this church since 1996. She has taught children’s Sunday school and adult Bible Study classes. She has been on many of the church committees and for the past 3+ years has been serving as council chairperson. She enjoys reaching out to the community, and with the help of others, provided COVID information and free vaccine clinics to the community. She has gone back to her previous job as a director of a non-profit housing rehabilitation organization that provides free home repairs to low-income homeowners. She does volunteer Christian counseling one day per week and enjoys walking, reading, and spending time with her two daughters and four grandsons when possible.
