When I walked through the doors of Beaverton First over two decades ago, I knew this was a safe and loving place where I could belong, raise my children, and develop a church family. I was immediately drawn into the Music Ministry as a member of the Choir and a Cello Soloist, and that role has expanded to the establishment and growth of our Praise Band. As a member of the Worship Team, I strive to find ways to provide inspiration for people to think about their faith, discover where they are on their journey, and become active participants in their faith. Since coming here, I’ve expanded my role significantly to include leadership roles in Worship, facilitating Theology Pub and other discussion groups.

I am a video professional with a background in journalism. I started working in radio at 14 and made the move to television news after that.  It is something that allows me to meet incredible people and share their stories, and I love that. I have multiple children who have grown up in the church. I love to cook, read, and I have been doing Hood to Coast since 2007.
